Yes. It is up to you to notify us to cancel an Internet account if you are not going to be using the account for a while.
There is currently no way of canceling your Internet account online. In order to do this, visit or contact your local FSM Telecom office to request for Internet account cancellation or you may email your cancellation request to CustomerService@fsmtc.fm. If you choose to email your cancellation request, please state the correct corresponding account information: owner's full name, billing address, and the Internet account numbers or usernames. We also do ask that you give us the reason for canceling your account so that we can improve the service for our other users.
No. FSM Telecom does not prorate charges to an Internet account that gets cancelled anytime of the month. FSM Telecom bills in advance each month for each Internet account and hence the Internet account user will be billed for the full month's charges even though the Internet account may not be used for the remaining month.
Yes. Depending on when your Internet account is created, FSM Telecom will prorate the charges to your Internet account from the date the account was created towards the end of that billing month. FSM Telecom will not prorate the installation/setup fee.
