FSM Telecommunications Corporation (FSMTC) is pleased to welcome its newest Board member, Mr. Smithy Clark, as the representative of Pohnpei State. Clark is currently the Mayor of Pingelap, an atoll located east of Pohnpei island. He has a broad background in the telecom sector, having worked for FSMTC for 19 years as an Outside Plant (OSP) Specialist, assisting with the planning and designing of the outside plant network and leading a team in the installation and maintenance of the copper and fiber network. Clark’s career as an OSP technician started in 1992 and ended in 2011, when he resigned to pursue a life of public service.
